Srinagar, Jan 6 (KNS): MLA Lal Chowk Ahsan Pardesi has expressed profound grief over the tragic demise of five members of a Baramulla family due to suffocation caused by improper ventilation in their rented accommodation in Pandrethan.
Terming the incident a heartbreaking loss, Pardesi extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and emphasized the urgent need for proactive measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.
"The loss of precious lives is a wake-up call for all of us. It is imperative for the concerned departments, including the Health Department and Fire and Emergency Services, to issue advisories and guidelines to educate people on the safe use of heating appliances and the critical importance of proper ventilation during the winter season," Pardesi stated.
