Jammu, January 29 (KNS):  Apni Party’s top leadership gathered today in Jammu to hold an extraordinary meeting aimed at discussing the present political scenario, important party matters, and outlining the future strategy.


The meeting was presided over by the party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, while as Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, and Chairman of the party’s Parliamentary Affairs Committee (PAK) Mohammad Dilawar Mir were also present on the occasion.

According to a party statement issued here, “In a crucial meeting, the leaders held thorough deliberations on the present political scenario in Jammu and Kashmir. They also discussed several important party matters and exchanged views and ideas to formulate a future strategy, ensuring the party plays its role effectively as a vibrant opposition party in Jammu and Kashmir.”

“During the meeting, the party leaders decided to take effective measures to further strengthen the party at the grassroots level across Jammu and Kashmir. In this regard, they resolved to enhance public outreach while adopting an inclusive approach to connect with diverse sections of society,” the statement reads.

 

The leaders unanimously agreed upon, that “Although Apni Party has ensured that the people of J&K have exclusive rights to land and jobs, however, party’s  agenda remains incomplete as statehood is yet to be restored.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelTherefore, the party  will make every effort at all levels to achieve this goal.”

 

During the meeting, it was decided that  as an opposition party, Apni Party must remain active in identifying pressing public issues and ensuring their redressal.

“In addition to striving for the restoration of the rights of the people of J&K, the party must stay vigilant about public issues and grievances to ensure that the government addresses them promptly. Also, it is the party’s responsibility to closely monitor the government, ensuring that it provides efficient and transparent governance,” the press statement added.

 

Besides Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Ghulam Hassan Mir, and Mohammad Dilawar Mir, the prominent party leaders who were present in the meeting included General Secretary Vijay Bakaya, Additional General Secretary Hilal Ahmad Shah, Chief Coordinator and District President Kashmir Kulgam Abdul Majeed Padder, Provincial President Jammu Manjit Singh, Chief Spokesperson, State Secretary and District President Budgam Muntazir Mohiuddin, Former Legislator and District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor, District President Poonch Shah Mohammad Tantray, District President Rajouri Syed Manzoor Bukhari, District President Bandipora Shafat Kazmi, Constituency incharge Sonawari Imtiyaz Parray, Apni Party Provincial Coordinator Javaid Ahmad Mir, and others.(KNS)
