Srinagar, July 22 (KNS: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President Omar Abdullah today paid glowing tributes to late Ghulam Nabi Wani Sogami on the 43rd anniversary of his passing.

Dr. Farooq expressed, "The late Sogami sahib was a remarkable political figure of his era. His dedication to uplifting the marginalized people in the remote regions of Kashmir, particularly Kupwara, will always be remembered. He was a skilled administrator and a visionary, whose leadership was respected even by his critics. May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannat."
