Kupwara Dec 20(KNS) :The employees of the Public Works Department (PWD) (R&B), Kashmir, under the Chief Engineer North Kashmir, are facing severe hardships as they have been working without salaries for the past four months. This includes staff across 3 Superintending Engineer Offices, 15 Divisions, and 31 Sub-Divisions under the New Pension Scheme (NPS).
The affected employees include Assistant Engineers, Junior Engineers, AAOs, Draftsmen, Junior Assistants, and MTS staff, who have been struggling to meet their financial obligations due to the prolonged delay in salary disbursement.

The employees, while speaking to Kashmir News Service (KNS), expressed their frustration over the situation and appealed to the government for immediate intervention. They requested the government to prioritize timely salary disbursement under NPS to ensure they can fulfill their responsibilities effectively.
Despite their dedication to work, the lack of salaries for four months has made their situation untenable. It is an earnest appeal to the authorities to take immediate action to address this pressing issue and ensure a regular salary mechanism for the hardworking staff under NPS of PWD (R&B) Kashmir.(KNS)
