Bandipora, Oct 27: The Jammu and Kashmir Youth National Conference on Monday organised a one-day Youth Convention at the Town Hall Bandipora, witnessing enthusiastic participation from young workers across the district.
The event was presided over by District Youth President Bandipora, Danish Shafi Bhat, who highlighted the vital role of youth in building a progressive and peaceful Jammu and Kashmir. He urged the young generation to actively participate in democratic processes and contribute towards strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
The convention was attended by Provincial Youth President Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, Vice President Salman Matoo, and Joint Secretary Tanveer Ahmad Buthoo. The speakers, while addressing the gathering, underscored the importance of reviving the National Conference’s influence in Bandipora, which has historically remained a party stronghold.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Vice President Salman Matoo, in his address, reaffirmed the party’s commitment to its manifesto and said that the National Conference is determined to fulfil all promises made to the people in both letter and spirit.
The convention also witnessed fiery speeches by local party workers, who racked up splits and greviances in party from Bandipora NC constituency, and demanded that pary base be strengthened, by taking all the stake holders into confidence.
The senior youth leaders, however, suggested that it was not the shortcoming of the high command, but that youth leaders at the constituency level were supposed to strive on the grassroots levels.
The provincial president, Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, who gave patient hearing, promised to take up the issues with the party president and vice president. (KNS)
