Flight Services Resume at Srinagar Airport After Snowfall: Director Airport

Srinagar, Dec 29 (KNS): Flight services at Srinagar International Airport resumed smoothly on Sunday after being disrupted due to the season’s first major snowfall. The bad weather earlier in the week had caused significant delays and cancellations, but operations have now returned to normal.

Javid Anjum, Director of Srinagar Airport, stated that although weather conditions were slightly foggy this morning, additional flights were successfully operated, ensuring smooth connectivity for passengers. “Despite being a Sunday, flight operations are functioning normally,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Earlier, on December 27, seven flights were canceled due to adverse weather, and all flights scheduled for December 28 were grounded due to heavy snowfall and poor visibility.

Passengers expressed relief at the resumption of services, especially during this busy travel season. Airport authorities assured that all rescheduled flights from previous days are being managed efficiently to minimize inconvenience. (KNS)
