Srinagar, January 6 (KNS): Apni Party Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir has welcomed the inauguration of the Jammu railway division, describing it as a long-pending demand of the people that has finally been fulfilled today.

Mir expressed his hope that enhancing the railway network in Jammu and Kashmir would boost the economy by increasing trade activities and tourism, while also creating job opportunities.

Pertinently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated new railway division in Jammu today. He inaugurated the project virtually.
