SRINAGAR, JAN 20 (KNS) : The Indian Army successfully concluded a six-day 'Rozgaar Mela' (Job Fair) at the Chinar Nau Jawan Club in Uri, Baramulla district, from January 15 to 20. The event was designed to empower the unemployed educated youth of Uri Tehsil by connecting them with potential employers and government schemes.
Organised by the Dagger Division in collaboration with the REACHA Foundation, under the aegis of the Chinar Corps, the fair attracted 12 reputed companies from sectors including Information Technology, Hospitality, Finance, and Manufacturing.
The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between skilled local candidates and employers, with special outreach to ex-servicemen and families in border regions.

The event received widespread appreciation from participants, who praised the Army’s role in addressing socio-economic needs and requested regular hosting of such fairs to expand reach and impact.
