Jammu Railway Division will transform connectivity; give boost to local economy, employment : Devyani Rana

JAMMU, JANUARY 6 (KNS): Hailing the inauguration of the Jammu Railway Division by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a path-breaking initiative to transform the region’s connectivity and unlock opportunities for economic growth and employment, newly nominated Vice President of J&K Bhartiaya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Ms. Devyani Rana today also called it the fulfillment of her late father, Mr. Devender Singh Rana’s, long cherished and pursued dream.

Speaking to a women gathering at Kotli in Mathwar Mandal, as part of public outreach programs following her father’s passing, Ms. Devyani Rana highlighted Mr. Devender Singh Rana’s relentless pursuit of the Jammu Railway Division. “Less than a week before his untimely demise, my father made a request to the Union Railway Minister Mr. Ashwini Vaishnav and J&K Lieutenant Governor Mr Manoj Sinha for the crucial need for a separate Railway Division for Jammu,” she said.

“The Jammu Railway Division is not just an infrastructural milestone but a testament to the late visionary leader’s tireless efforts. As Jammu embarks on a new chapter of progress, the people remember and honor the enduring legacy of Devender Singh Rana—a leader whose dedication to the region’s welfare will continue to inspire generations”, she said.
