Killings in Kashmir won't stop until justice is done: Farooq Abdullah

 
Srinagar, Oct 17 (KNS):Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and former chief minister, Farooq Abdullah on Monday said that target killings in Kashmir will not stop until justice is done. 

"Until the justice is done, these target killings will not stop. Earlier they used to blame Article 370 for killings.Now after the abrogation of Article 370, they said situation here has improved, but now you see this," Abdullah said in response to a question regarding the latest target killing of a Kashmiri pandit by militants in Shopian.

"Now the Article 370 is no more but still killings are happening, the government will have to answer who is responsible for it," he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel 

He also said that the  BJP government is still claiming that the situation has improved. "If the situation has really improved, why are these killings happening every day and innocent lives are being lost," he said. 

Notably, the National Conference chief had gone to Reasi to express condolences with his party colleague and former minister Jagjeevan Lal on the demise of his sister, and the family of former bureaucrat Babu Lal who had recently passed away(KNS)
