New Delhi/Srinagar, Jan 31 (KNS )– Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has said that the issue of Kashmiri Pandits is a humanitarian one, and the Muslims of Kashmir want their return.
"They will return to their homes and live peacefully with their Muslim brethren and again live in the same environment of love," he stated. He emphasized that their return should not be linked to the Kashmir issue or politics.
In an exclusive conversation with Kashmir News Service (KNS), Mirwaiz revealed, "I have appealed many times from the pulpit of Jamia Masjid for the return of Kashmiri Pandits." He stressed that their return has to be a collective effort. "The majority community will play its role in welcoming them, but they also have to minimize the differences," he added.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
