Gulmarg, Dec 7: MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, participated in the "100 Days Intensified Campaign on TB Elimination" initiated by the Union Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. 

 

The campaign, part of the National Health Mission, was attended virtually by the J&K Health Minister, Sakina Yatoo. 

 

Joint Secretary, Ministry of Health, Government of India, along with senior officials including MLA Beerwah Dr. M. Shafi Wani, MLA Uri Dr. Sajad Shafi, Director of Health Services Jehangir Bakshi, and district health officers, were present.

 

As part of his constituency initiatives, Mr.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelShah inaugurated a Synthetic Volleyball Court at Government Girls High School, Kralweth, constructed at a cost of ?12 lakh. A Kindergarten facility was also inaugurated during the event.

 

In Tangmarg, Shah held a public darbar where residents raised issues related to infrastructure, healthcare, and education. Assurances of appropriate action were given during the meeting.

Later, Shah visited Shrai to offer condolences to Manzoor Ahmad Khan on the demise of his father. 

 

He also visited Gutlipora Sawan to meet victims of a recent fire incident and pledged support to the affected families.(KNS).
