NIA arrests Faridabad resident for sheltering terrorist in Delhi blast case

New Delhi, Nov 26 (KNS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday arrested a Faridabad resident for allegedly harbouring terrorist Umar Un Nabi ahead of the November 10 car bomb blast outside the Red Fort in Delhi.

According to a statement issued, the accused, identified as Soyab, a resident of Dhauj in Faridabad, Haryana, is the seventh person to be arrested in connection with the case.

Investigators have found that he provided shelter and logistical support to Umar in the days preceding the attack, which killed several people and left many injured.

NIA has already arrested six of Umar’s suspected associates during the course of the investigation into case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The agency said coordinated searches and follow-up operations are continuing across multiple states in collaboration with local police to trace others linked to the suicide bombing.

Efforts are underway to uncover the full network involved in planning and executing the attack.

The NIA reaffirmed that the probe remains active and additional arrests are expected as investigators work to expose the entire conspiracy behind the blast.(KNS).
