JAMMU APRIL 22 (KNS):  National Conference Additional General Secretary and Former Minister Mr. Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today strongly condemned the brutal terrorist strike in Pahalgam, describing it as most barbaric, inhuman and dastardly.

In a statement, Sadhotra voiced outrage at the deliberate targeting of unarmed tourists, enjoying their trip to picturesque Valley.

“These lunatics have crossed all limits by attacking innocent tourists, whose only crime was seeking respite in our beautiful valley,” Sadhotra said, adding that assaulting women, children and senior citizens alike represents an assault on the very fabric of civil society.

Sadhotra called for sustained counter terror operations and increased vigilance during high tourist seasons.

Expressing solidarity with the families of those killed and injured, he said “Our hearts go out to every victim”.

Sadhotra reaffirmed the National Conference’s commitment to peace,
