POONCH, Jan 11 (KNS) ; In a significant move to bolster frontier security, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Poonch chaired a high-level coordination meeting with members of the Village Defence Group (VDG) from the border village of Jhullas.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS) correspondent, the session was attended by around 140–150 volunteers and highlighted the critical role of community involvement in safeguarding sensitive areas.

During the extensive interaction, VDG members presented key operational challenges to the district police chief.
