Kupwara October 02 (KNS): J&K Youth Peoples Conference in District Kupwara today held a meeting of its core members in the district at the party office in Handwara. The meeting was called by Youth District President Kupwara Mansoor Banday and presided by former MLA and senior PC leader Adv Bashir Ahmed Dar. DDC Kralpora Adv Masrat Farooq and youth leader Ashraf Shera Malik were also present.
During the meeting a wide range of issues pertaining to the youth were discussed and detailed deliberations were held. It was agreed by the participants in the meeting that the organisational and hierarchal structure of the youth district body must be strengthened and unitisation at the grassroots level in the youth body must be undertaken and completed as a matter of priority. Besides structuring and hierarchy the overall functioning of the youth body was also discussed in detail.
Adv Bashir Ah Dar while addressing the youth members exhorted them to tirelessly and selflessly work towards empowering the the downtrodden people at the grassroots level. He said that the people of J&K are facing unprecedented and tremendous challenges and the role of the youth in securing a peaceful and prosperous future for the people of J&K has become even greater.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe urged the members present in the meeting to rise up to the occasion and deliver for the people of J&K. He emphasised on the need for young leaders to be connected with the people at the grassroots level, have their voices heard and become partners in the decision-making process.
“We want to groom the youngsters to play a pivotal role and contribute to the politics and welfare of J&K in the coming decades”, he added.
During the meeting Youth District President, Kupwara Mansoor Banday said that PC is committed to promote active participation of youth at every level in the party and give them bigger responsibilities to shape a better tomorrow.
“Active and meaningful participation of the youth is imperative to address the challenges that have an impact on them and their future. We are committed to create spaces for the youth to take the mantle of responsibility to shape a brighter future for the coming generations”, he added.(KNS)
