BJP top leaders set to begin campaign for JK Assembly Elections

Srinagar, Sep 5 (KNS): With the important Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections coming up, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is getting ready for a big campaign to boost its chances in the region.
Top BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other top brass are set to spearhead the campaign by addressing public rallies across the Union territory, aiming to galvanize support for the party's candidates.
According to sources within the party, the star campaigners will begin their activities as early as next week.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Jammu marking the first of many significant appearances by senior leaders.
A key BJP source told KNS, “Amit Shah is already scheduled to visit Jammu , and in the coming days, we will see other prominent BJP leaders campaigning in the UT.”
Meanwhile Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to hold three major rallies in the coming week, with two rallies planned for Jammu and one for Kashmir.
“We are expecting that two of the Prime Minister’s rallies will be held in Jammu, while one will take place in Srinagar,” said a top BJP leader.
In addition to PM Modi's rallies, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting the morale of BJP candidates and workers.

Amit Shah’s visit to the Kashmir region is also under consideration, according to insiders.
When asked about this possibility, a senior BJP leader stated, “Shah may visit Kashmir to further boost the morale of party workers and candidates. Yesterday, when our candidates filed their nominations in Srinagar, there was significant public support, reflecting the growing confidence in the Modi-led government.”
One of the key highlights of PM Modi’s visit is expected to be a rally in Doda, a district in Jammu that has been in the spotlight due to recent terrorist attacks. The rally in Doda is considered crucial for both security and political reasons.
A senior BJP leader noted, “A rally by PM Modi in Doda will not only give confidence to the people in the region but also show the government’s commitment to ensuring stability and security.”
With the campaign set to kick into high gear, BJP leaders are confident that the party’s momentum in Jammu and Kashmir is on the rise.
Party leaders emphasized that the large turnout during the nomination process in Srinagar reflects growing faith in the BJP’s leadership.(KNS)
