LoP accused the National Conference of being “ration, job, and election thieves.”

Srinagar, Oct 28 (KNS): LoP Sunil Sharma on Tuesday said the National Conference government in Jammu and Kashmir has discriminated against teachers from Jammu in promotions and transfers.

Sharma said that since the government took office over the past year, officials in the Education Department have given timely promotions and transfers to teachers, masters, lecturers, and principals, but teachers born in Jammu were excluded.

“Tell me, what fault does someone born in Jammu have? Because I was born in Jammu, I will not get promotion or transfer here based on merit,” Sharma said. He questioned why officials treat teachers from Jammu differently. “I rise in merit, but since I was born in Jammu, I will not get promotion. What crime has a Jammu teacher committed?” he added as per KNS.

Sharma also accused the National Conference of corruption, saying, “Ration thieves, job thieves, salaried thieves, promise breakers, and election thieves are all part of the National Conference.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He said that the situation reflects policies implemented by the PDP in the past. He said bills were introduced to regularize illegal encroachments with the aim of demographic change. “PDP has an anti-national mindset. They brought bills to glorify and regularize illegal encroachments,” he said.

Sharma said the PDP’s attempts were defeated in the Assembly and thanked officials who opposed the measures. He accused the National Conference of continuing policies that favored certain groups over others and said the issue raises questions about fairness and transparency in administrative decisions in the Education Department.(KNS)
