Religious Slogans Echo in J&K Assembly, Ruckus Ensues

Jammu, April 7 (KNS):The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Monday witnessed a ruckus after religious slogans were raised by members of the National Conference (NC), and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during the proceedings.


As per reports, the atmosphere turned tense when NC leaders raised the slogan "Naara-e-Takbeer, Allahu Akbar", which was met with BJP leaders chanting "Jai Shri Ram". The slogans from both sides led to a verbal confrontation, disrupting the assembly session.

Outside the Assembly, leaders from both NC and BJP defended their respective positions, accusing each other of provocation. (KNS)
