Srinagar, Apr 02 (KNS): CPI(M) leader and former MLA Kulgam Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami Sunday said that several trade, kisan and mazdoor unions of the country will hold protest at Jantar Mantar New Delhi on April 05 against the rising unemployment, inflation, hatred and division carried out by present ruling dispensation BJP.
Tarigami said the promises made by BJP with the common masses of the country have not been fulfilled yet and with the each passing day the poor is being crushed under inflation and heavy taxes.
"Centre of Indian Trade Unions, All India Kisan Sabha, Khet Mazdoor Union, J&K Kisan Tehreeq have decided to hold a protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on April 5 to protest against rising prices, unemployment, subjugation, hatred, division and other means carried out by BJP," Tarigami said and added, "The aim of protest is to remind BJP government of its promises that were made with poor".Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"Food items have been heavily taxed. Subsidy on domestic gas was snatched. Schemes meant for poor have been stopped. Elders and patients have been deprived from facilities and have not been spared from taxes. This is the picture of today's government which however is intolerable," Tarigami said.
He added there is no way other than to protest against the ruling BJP government for injustices they carried out on poor and common masses.
"We will go to Delhi on April 5 to protest against the injustice and expose the real face of BJP government," Tarigami added. (KNS)
