Tangmarg, April 6 (KNS): Some vendors in Tangmarg have accused the municipal authorities of targeting only a few stalls during a recent demolition drive. They said their polythene-roofed stalls were removed by bulldozers without any notice.
The affected vendors said many other similar stalls were left untouched, raising questions about fairness. “We were not given any warning. Our stalls were our only source of income,” said one of the vendors.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Senior vice president of JKAP, Ghulam Hassan Mir, met the affected vendors and showed support. He blamed the officials for acting in a biased manner and called it the first unfair action by the NC-led government.
“This is not justice. The poor are being targeted,” Mir said, demanding equal treatment for everyone and proper notices before such actions. (KNS)
