SRINAGAR, OCTOBER 15 (KNS): Secretary, Health and Medical Education, Bhupinder Kumar, today exhorted upon the officers to ensure 100 percent completion of golden cards distribution under Ayushman Bharat SEHAT scheme.
He said this while chairing a meeting held regarding preparedness for ‘Back to Village’ programme here at civil secretariat.
“The ‘Back to Village’ programme offers a golden opportunity for the health department to cover all the population under PM-JAY SEHAT scheme," Secretary maintained while addressing the meeting.
He stressed on Chief Medical Officers and other stakeholders to intensify IEC activities at village level so that awareness is created at grass root level and more and more people take benefit of this revolutionary scheme.

Notably, Poonch, Anantnag, Kulgam, Ganderbal, Pulwama, Shopian and Samba were 100% saturated where at least one member of every family has received golden card.
It is worth to mention that State Health Agency has already launched various innovative programmes like Goan Goan Ayushman, door to door mobilization and group specific drives so that maximum number of people can benefit from the Ayushman SEHAT scheme.
Secretary directed the CMOs to share daily report of golden card registration with the administrative department.
CEO, SHA, Ayushi Sudan, Director Finance Health and Medical Education Department, Director Health Services, bothJammu and Kashmir, Chief Medical Officers, Joint Director Planning H&ME, State Nodal officer, SHA and other officials attended the meeting.(KNS)
