Jammu, January 31 (KNS): Apni Party on Thursday reaffirmed that it will play a role of an effective opposition in Jammu and Kashmir, ensuring prompt redressal of the pressing public issues. The party also reiterated its commitment to continue its efforts for the restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.

According to a press release issued here, the leadership and the senior workers of Apni Party from Jammu gathered today to discuss party affairs and the current political scenario in the Jammu province. This crucial meeting was presided over by the party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.

“On this occasion, the leaders and senior workers from across the Jammu regain provided the party’s top leadership with an update on the functioning and performance of the party’s cadre across various areas in the Jammu region,” the press release said.

“They also brought several important party matters to the leadership’s attention, provided feedback, and shared their views on a range of issues. Important decisions were made during the meeting to address these concerns,” the press release added.

Addressing his colleagues, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari urged them to stay closely connected with the masses in their respective areas to remain aware of pressing public issues and the people's grievances.

He said, “This party is dedicated to the people, and it is our responsibility to remain closely connected with the masses. Our duty is to stay fully informed about public issues so that we can raise them and bring them to the attention of the relevant authorities for swift resolution. We must hold the government accountable to ensure it delivers efficient and transparent governance for the people.”
